    Armoury crate v4.2.5.0 [report hither if any issues]

    A new major update is being rolled out. At that place are several improvement and new features, many of the issues reported have also been fixed.

    Advise to uninstall Aura Sync software if already installed.

    To update to the latest version of Armoury Crate, reboot and the update will run in the background automatically (do not open Armoury Crate for 10-xv minutes, and plug in the power for notebooks).

    Before reporting issues, delight brand sure you have the latest software and firmware.

    Be clear about the key result. Mark/edit posts which are no longer relevant, tracking multiple posts in several pages not only takes time merely the issue becomes unclear. When reporting a new event, include the post-obit info:
    1. Clear description of your upshot
    2. PC / Laptop
    three. Aura Sync products
    four. 3rd-party peripheral, audio, or lighting software
    5. Wired / wireless connexion
    6. Reinstalled Windows?
    7. Windows version & build
    8. Previous version of firmware or software that worked equally expected
    9. Whatever screenshots of the issue
    ten. Apply our log collection function: Settings=>Well-nigh=>App diagnostics

    Log Collection Tool - Instructions
    First, check the Tape log box to start recording
    Concord to the disclaimer
    Replicate the issue you are having
    Click on the Generate log data push
    Save the log file to a location of your choice.
    Stop the recording

    Even though the log file is encrypted, share the log file with me past PM (provide link to file in deject).

    Many problems have been posted previously, just a very small percentage of people have PM'd me their log. If in doubt, simply send a log and recall to record first. If the outcome is after shutdown: provide a log for earlier shutdown and one after (2 logs). Thank you anybody!

    "ArmourySWAgent.exe" Window Running In the Background

    Resolved

    1. Later Armoury Crate pushed out an update of "ASUS Framework Services - Version: 2.i.1.iii". "ArmourySWAgent (32bit).exe" is running in the background in a window. Can be seen when Alt-Tab.

    2. Laptop - G531GW

    four. third-party peripheral, audio, or lighting software - None
    5. Wired / wireless connectedness - Wired Mouse and Keyboard
    6. Reinstalled Windows? - Nope
    7. Windows version & build - Windows x 21H1/ 19043.1165
    8. Previous version of firmware or software that worked every bit expected - I am unsure near that only the version previously from ASUS Framework Services - Version 2.1.ane.3 was working fine.

    9. Any screenshots of the outcome.

    [All issues solved and crate at present working as intended - later getting support through teamviewer!]

    1. Uninstalled Crate using the Crate Uninstaller, deceit install Crate again. Cyberspace is not the issue!
    Mistake message comes when it trys to download the stuff seen on the screenshot.

    Annoying "ArmourySWAgent.exe" keeps running in the background upon startup, and too every fourth dimension I open Armoury Crate.

    By background I mean information technology'south an abrasive window that can be seen and alt tabbed to.

    On top of that, the "Device" tab in Armoury now appears A LOT slower than before the update. From iii seconds to virtually 10 seconds.

    I only have i unmarried device, ROG Strix Go ii.4 Wireless Headset (using MSI laptop if that matters).

    Connection: Wired

    Using an external monitor hooked up to USB-C/Displayport

    When my display turns off (not slumber) ArmouryCrate.UserSessionHelper starts gradually increasing in retention usage and I can hear the fans ramp up.
    I can reproduce this issue every time past letting the brandish timeout when idle or when I go into CRATE and go to the GPU Power Saver TAB and click refresh on processes. Either of these two methods will create a retentiveness leak.
    I left it over nighttime and information technology ate iv gigs of memory when I checked on information technology, and the organization became really choppy. I had to end the chore to get my functioning dorsum.

    At that place is no issue with the process if I go on the screen active or if I put system to slumber.

    I'm not sure if this was an issue prior as I simply got this laptop a few days ago and remember I was already updated to 4.2.v.
