Words to Ill See You Again

"Oh, my friend, do you lot accept ones close to you who have taken their journey to sky?     They are safe with the Lord, God'due south Word is true – can't y'all hear your loved one say?  I'll see you over again, I'll come across you lot again, I'll run into you in glory anytime.          For at present, it's cheerio- don't sorrow or sigh –  I'll run across yous in glory someday."

I first heard this song sung years ago by Ray Hart – post-obit the testimony of John R Rice. At that place are three verses to the song, with this one beingness the final one. The first verse talked most John R Rice's mom. She had passed away when he was a immature child.  The 2d poesy talked about our Lord leaving the disciples and ascending  to heaven – letting them know that He would run across them over again someday.  But, this last poetry became special to me at the age of 12 years old, and has became special a few times over again since that fourth dimension.

When I was 11 years old, my sister went dwelling house to be with the Lord – God chose to take her to heaven at the age of 2 1/2 months one-time. That was my offset encounter with a close family member dying.  Near two and a half years ago, my grandmother went on to celebrity, as well.  She was a very special lady to and then many – In so many ways, everyone that was a part of her family unit, has her to be thankful for. (Her story can exist read in a previous postal service)

Simply but recently, three weeks ago yesterday, heaven gained another great human being.  Vic Sinz, my begetter-in-police force – known to us all every bit 'Papa,' "went home".  Papa had been in and out of the hospital a lot over the previous half dozen months – it seemed as if in that location was always something unlike going wrong, and doctors were puzzled.  Just one thing was for sure – Papa ever wanted to become abode.

In the summertime of 1975, a man stopped by the Sinz business firm to invite 3 little kids to Vacation Bible School. The parents agreed to let them attend VBS at Whitestown Road Baptist Church  (a Southern Baptist Church). But, the man that invited them to VBS did not stop at that place. He continued to stop by and visit – Papa would try to hide from him or brand him think they weren't there.  One time, the family unit came abode from town to find this man knocking at their door – Papa drove around the block until he left ☺ But this human, John Stair, did not surrender. John continued to visit – and his persistence paid off.  In December of 1975, Papa and his wife, "Mimi", trusted Christ as their Savior.

Papa immediately turned from the lifestyle that he was living for the devil, and started living a life for the Lord. He was concerned about the Salvation of his children. His but son, Scott, trusted Christ equally his personal Savior in October of 1976, at the age of five years quondam. I am thankful to God for this – As this is the man that God would have me to marry someday.

Papa's witnessing for the Lord did non cease at that place. He was always passing out tracts and telling others most Christ. At the ARMCO Steel Manufacturing plant, where he worked until he retired, he was known as the "Preacher".  Even, every bit he lay in the hospital, he was passing out tracts and telling others about Jesus' love for them. In fact, when his pastor went up to the hospital, the 24-hour interval that he passed away, the nurses came upwardly to Pastor Ward and handed him Papa'and so Bible and said: "Nosotros desire to make sure that the family unit gets this. We know how special it was to him. And, nosotros put all of his 'niggling Bibles' in the front of his Bible." Papa was all of the nurse's and doctor's favorite patient.  He was kind and very appreciative for all they did for him. They loved him – they all cried when he passed. Papa lived his life in a fashion that was pleasing and honoring to the Lord, first and foremost.

Secondly, Papa loved his wife very much. He always took extra special care of her. Their honey never ended. They were married for 56 years – considering of the Lord, they were able to accept a loving marriage.

Thirdly, he loved his children. My husband has soooooo many memories with his dad. Whether it was hunting together, building things with wood, or shooting bows and guns – at that place was a lot of time spent together. My hubby has a lot of adept memories that will terminal for many years to come.

Lastly, Papa loved each and every one of his grandchildren. He prayed for them all and taught them each so much with the time that he spent with them. Whether information technology was skeet shooting, making whirly gigs, shooting bows, playing pool in the basement, fishing out in their boat on Lake Arthur, having picnics, going to the park, riding bikes, roasting marshmallows in the backyard, and on and on I could become – he loved his grandchildren. And each one of them have some very special memories that they will ever treasure in their hearts forever.

A 24-hour interval or two before Papa went to Celebrity, he told Pastor Ward – "Pastor, if I die, tell everyone that I 'went home'."  Papa is "Home" now. We sure do miss him, but nosotros are all thankful that we KNOW that we will see him over again someday.

I'll encounter you again, I'll see you again, I'll see you in celebrity someday.  For at present, it'southward goodbye, don't sorrow or sigh, I'll see yous in celebrity anytime.

I woke this morning with this song on my mind, and I idea I would share this with you. I hope it is an encouragement to you in one way or some other. If it is, please let me know how it was a blessing or encouragement to y'all.

I am blessed beyond what I deserve. God has given me a wonderful husband and four children who love the Lord. God has placed us in the beautiful state of Idaho where my husband, Scott, is the pastor of Mountain Valley Baptist Church. The purpose of my page is to honor and glorify God and encourage others in their walk with God. View all posts by mountainvalleytimesblog
